Merlin Olsen dead at 69

Merlin Olsen, football Hall of Famer and television actor has died at the age of 69.Olsen was diagnosed with mesothelioma last year. He died in a Los Angeles hospital last night.

Olsen played football for Utah State the LA Rams in 1962. But most of you might remember him from "Little House on the Prairie". He also starred on his own television show, a sort of spin-off of "Little House"
