Miss California is a Gay Hater

Gay Hater??? Simply because she gave HER opinions???? We Christians are required to be tolerant of others but when we say what we believe (She was asked for her opinion) we are punished for it.....

well I think the American public has been tolerant enough over the years putting up with a blatant civil rights violation. denying gays the right to marry based on religious beliefs is not only unconstitutional (seperation of church and state!) but it's morally and ethically wrong. It's the same as denying interacial couples the right to marry until the late 60's! That sort of hate and superiority is shameful.

hahaha, Sara, you're absolutely right. Depending on your surrounding people, you're either crazy and misguided for saying your opinion that gay marriage is not wrong and may even be good for the economy ..... or you're crazy and a prejudicial if you think that you want to protect "real" marriages. I think it comes down to this, you have the right to think that marriage should be between a man and a woman only, or whatever goes ..... but it becomes a problem when you try to pass laws one way or another. If you seek to LIMIT the rights of your fellow people, then you're in the wrong. It's like me saying that I don't like black people, or that white people are take advantage of everyone else, or that Asians can't drive. There's technically nothing wrong with my opinion, but once I start advocating separation in schools, Affirmative Action, or taking Asians' driver licenses away ... then that's wrong.

I'm gay and I applaud her for giving her honest answer knowing it could have an negative impact on her fate. And we all know it did, she lost. Just because I don't agree with her views on gay marriage doesn't mean she has no right to have express them. This is still America.

Absolutely! She was not "hatin" on anyone just speaking her mind. "Tolerance" has got to be a 2 way street. Those hurling hate at her detract from their own cause and act like Fachists.
