He began his career as Doogie Howser, a child doctor, but Neil Patrick Harris knew before the role that he was gay.

The "How I Met Your Mother" stud recently told Oprah Winfrey that he was still quite young when he discovered his sexual orientation.

Winfrey asked him his age, and NPH replied, "Probably six, seven- young," during "Oprah's Next Chapter" along with his partner David Burtka.
