In Elfie Hopkins Jaime Winstone plays the titlular role of a quirky "wanna-be" detective whose appetite for a real-life case is matched by the appetites of a new family, The Gammons, played by Rupert Evans (Hellboy) and Kate Magowan (Primeval), who move into the village.
