Pylon guitarist Randy Bewley passed away yesterday, February 25, after suffering a fatal heart attack in Athens, Georgia, the Athens Banner-Herald reports. He was 53. Pylon was a product of the same Athens music scene that produced their friends R.E.M. and the B-52's.
