Nicollette Sheridan Leaving "Desperate Housewives

Nicollette Sheridan is leaving Desperate Housewives, a rep for the actress confirmed on Wednesday.

This show jumped the shark ages ago, so this really doesn't come as any surprise.

The Golden Globe-nominated star will end her run as real estate agent "Edie Britt" after the sixth season finale airs this May, ABC said in a statement to TV Guide this afternoon.
