First of all, the marital status of President Obama's father is not relevant to his name. He acquired his name at birth, when his mother gave that name at birth. Under USA law, she could have said, "Mickey Mouse" and that would have been his legal name. There is no paternity test or requirement for the source of one's name in the US Constitution for any office. That accounts for the fact that we have had a number of Presidents whose father abandoned them before birth or shortly thereafter or who died very young and their mothers re-married. (Gerald Ford and Bill Clinton being two from the modern era who were born under another name that was subsequently changed to conform to a mother's remarriage.)

Barack Obama's birth name on his birth certificate is Barack Obama. He was born in the US State of Hawaii.

Although it is irrelevant, his mother was also born in the USA. Her family line can be traced back to before the American Revolution of 1776 and includes many distinguished public servants, businessmen, military men (on both sides of the Civil War - even slaveholders). But none of that makes his presidential legal qualifications stronger or weaker. It is sufficient that he was born in the USA.

As for the claim that the US Constitution requires that both parents be US Citizens, that is such a stupid and obvious lie that even Josef Goebbels might have felt it beneath his professional status as Master of Lies to make it. That document says exactly this, nothing more and nothing less about qualifications for US President, "No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.'

(that phrase "or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution," was put in there at the Constitution Convention to permit the eligibility of some men in the new nation who had come to the USA from other countries as infants. But once all those alive, "at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution," had died, that portion of the qualifications became moot. The only qualification that remains is that one that the US President be a "natural born citizen."

You will notice there is not one word regarding one's gender, one's parents, the parent's citizenship status, their marital status, race, religious affiliation, political party or any other condition precedent.

All this nonsense that Obama is not a legal president is simply racism for the feeble-minded who either cannot or will not read the plain language of the law.

Did it ever occur to you that the U.S.A. did not exist before the founding fathers were born? All but eight of them were born in the Americas. Obama has stated that he was the son of a white mother and an African-American father. This is absolutely not true. His father was a black (native)Kenyan, or simply a Kenyan and therefore a subject of the British Crown and was never at any time a US citizen. This fact alone rendered his son's Presidency illegal from the beginning.

Note; the Founding Fathers put the definition in writing from the defining documents of their day. One such Founding Father, John Jay used the definition of "natural born Citizen" straight from The Law of Nations (Vattel) that states: "The natives, or natural-born citizens, are those born in the country, of parents who are citizens..." (Vattel in Book 1, Sec 212).

Furthermore,Here is the exact language of the Naturalization Act of 1790, passed by the first U.S. Congress:

"And the children of citizens of the United States, that may be born beyond sea, or out of the limits of the United States, shall be considered as natural born citizens: Provided, That the right of citizenship shall not descend to persons whose fathers have never been resident in the United States..."

Obama is not eligible because of his father was Kenyan/British. He was not, never, at any time, a citrizen of the United states of America. He arrived in the USA in 1959 as a foreign student and returned to Kenya in 1965 - as a foreign student.

As for your charge that those who question Obama's legitimacy as President as 'feeble minded' and "racist"; remember that many blacks voted for the first time in 2008, because a black candidate was running. This morning we were sent this article from the African Press, Obama is not an American citizen, he was born in Africa, there is a picture of the Birth certificate and it can be examined by whomever wants to examine it. it is not a forgery like his first one.
