'People' say Rob Pattinson is more like Edward

Robert Pattinson would like to clear something up: He's more like his prim Twilight character Edward than blogs would have you believe. "I don't see people," he says. "I don't even have people's phone numbers. I almost don't want to have a girlfriend in this environment."

"There's literally not a single [true] story that could be written about me," Pattinson, 22, tells GQ for its April cover story, addressing rumors that he loves to party all night. "I never do anything."

"There's this thing about my supposed girlfriend," he says, referencing online gossip about his putatively scandalous dating life. "There's this one girl who's consistently mentioned. It's like, 'He's dating this Brazilian model.' What's her name - Annelyse? I've never met her."

Nor is he dating Camilla Belle, currently linked to Joe Jonas (of the Jonas Brothers), despite the fact that they were photographed walking together recently.

"I'm friends with Camilla," he says. "That's the extent of it. I mean, Camilla's the nicest - she's a saint. And it's funny that she's being portrayed as this home wrecker. She's literally the most unlikely person to be a home wrecker. It's just ridiculous."

I watched an interview from last year and he says that he is like Edward's Character he plays. He says that he made Edward a lot like himself for it to work and be believable. He says that he changed his character to reflect himself in him. If i find the interview i will post it.

Romantic Fool

He said the script writer for 'Remember Me' also fashioned the phrasing and script after the way he is in real life after they met and hammered out ideas. I think he is so interesting and would love to see more interviews on him. Perhaps he will be promoting Remember Me soon and also he is doing Unbound Captives with Hugh Jackman in 2010.

I think he is the only one who dont realise his talents and goodness (just like Edward). I am glad that he put a part of himself into his films, a small part of his personality comes out in each film he is in. He said that he was a geeky guy like "Art" from the film "How To Be". He is very talented in his music as well. I hope he picks up that career also, it will be a shame if he lets it go, even though he have said he wont now because of Twilight. He dont want to sing and be "that guy from Twilight". Shame though.
