Peter Reckell On His Baby Girl & Population Control

Peter Reckell, hunky soapstar, Bo Brady, on the popular TV show Days of our Lives, & his singer/songwriter wife, Kelly Moneymaker, welcomed their first child Loden in October of last year. Peter recently revealed how they came up with the name Loden for their daughter. He also discussed population control and how he and Kelly will not have anymore biological children due to this important environmental issue.
On how the family is doing: "Everyone's healthy and happy. Here's a picture of my daughter, Loden. She was born last October, and she's my pride and joy! Loden came to my wife, Kelly, in a dream and suggested the name Loden Sloan. So when Kelly woke up, she looked up Loden, which is a shade of green, and Sloan is Celtic for warrior. Since we're both passionate environmentalists, it made sense."
On if they plan to have more biological children: "No, that's it. We might adopt down the road. My wife is adopted. Also, people don't really talk about population control, and we should be discussing that topic."
Peter is an avid environmentalist, riding his bike 9 miles to work most days. He also drives an electric car.
