Rachel Weisz tempers her confection of a dress with dark lipstick at the "Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion Costume Institute Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday (May 4).

The 39-year-old British actress was outfitted by vera wang in a strapless, blush hand-painted tulle-draped gown.

"I feel like a punky princess," Rachel said.
