The new reality competition show "Stylista" debuts this week on CW. The show is based on Elle Magazine. Elle is not the first to cross over from magazine to reality television. In March Marie Claire will also give it a shot.
The magazines fashion news director Anne Slowery is the Driving Force behind "Stylista." The contest is between eleven aspiring editors who battle it out for the position of Junior Editor. Nina Garcia, fashion director for Marie Claire, tough judge on "Project Runway," and former Elle fashion director who was ousted and then snatched up by Marie Claire is the force behind "Running In Heels." The show is based on a behind the scenes look at the professional and personal lives of Marie Claire staffers.
