Rian Johnson's Looper Gets a Release Date

Having been picked up for distribution by FilmDistrict at last month's Cannes Film Festival, the third feature film from Rian Johnson, Looper , will be released by Sony's TriStar Pictures division on September 28, 2012, presumably to give Johnson the time needed to edit the movie which recently finished filming as well as do whatever FX need to be done.
