Rihanna has missed out an opportunity to appear on the cover of Vogue thanks to the nude photo scandal that rocked the Web earlier this month.

At the Metropolitan Gallery of Art's annual Costume Institute Gala, Rihanna spoke with Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour at length about doing a front cover and inside spread in an upcoming issue of the Fashion Bible, a friend of the singer tells Star.
