This year's MTV Video Music Awards might get a little explosive.

Rihanna, Paramore and T.I. have signed on to perform at the 25th annual event, hosted by British comedian Russell Brand, airing live from Los Angeles on Sept. 7.
"I can't wait," said Pink, who added that she intends to "blow stuff up." The rocker, who performed her hit "Just Like a Pill" at the 2002 show, will treat the audience to her new single "So What."
Also returning to the VMA stage will be pop star Rihanna. She will follow last year's performance of "Umbrella," which won the video of the year award, with a live rendition of her new No. 1 hit "Disturbia
