I got interested in Rob when I saw how run down and sad he looked last year. I thought Summit was nuts not to take better care of their hottest star..and he got so worn out from traveling on tour. It became obvious that there would not be a 2, 3 or 4 if he did not get some protection from the fans. I researched him and made some calls to friends in the know in Hollywood.

Rob recently stated in an interview for a Spanish magazine that was translated to English that he "always likes girls that he shouldn't like or he can't have." and that he was getting better at being more careful about showing that he liked someone and not talking so much. These two are keeping it a secret and the cast is helping them big time. Rob is well liked and Nikki Reed is good buds with both of them.
What do you think is the real story with Kristen & Robert? The fans started suspecting they were together over a year ago. Were the fans fooled from the get go with hype and carefully planned rumor or did a real love story happen during the making of the love story -Twilight.
Here what is known from interviews and sources:
Both Kristen and Rob felt driven to do the audition AFTER BOTH saying no. He said he only went when he learned she was playing Bella. He had the script for 5 months prior to that. Both admit to a connection and chemistry being there from the start. Both do similar gestures and habits. Both look amazing together. Both are serious, talented actors.
Even separated by an ocean, each wearing brown contacts, parkas, boots, with Rob using a fake American accent and Kristen wearing no make up and looking like a child for the part of Bella---they found each other...
The Producers at Summit wanted Robert to look hot and single. He was 22 and she was 17 when the movie started. He was told for the sake of the movie to stay away from her to avoid scandal. They put them in separate hotels during Twilight.
Kristen got the audition in part through her boyfriend, Michael who is friends with the director.

Did Kristen pretend to stay with Michael ONLY to make sure she got hired for sequels or to make it look like Rob was single? Kristen believed in Rob and advocated for him to get the part.

It would have looked pretty bad for Kristen to turn around and ditch Michael after he helped her career. Rob courted her with books, cd's, and a birthday guitar as per the their video interviews.
They spent months together on set and it was obvious that they were infatuated with each other; even to the movie's director who confirmed it.
How could Kristen resist Robert? After all, sweet Robert is NOW richer, more sought after and hotter than Michael. Rob declared on Seacrest's show that he could fall for her, that he dreams of her and that she was his crush on the Today Show. Was it really that she did not want to break off with Michael all this time? Not likely. She wanted Rob to have his shot at heart throb by appearing to be single and a sympathetic figure.

It would be sad to finally meet the person you know in your heart is your soul mate and it gets messed up by previous mistakes or behavior.. Did Rob's parents disapprove of her or have they changed their minds and are only friends now.

Ok after digging around at Comic Con..and watching Kristen. She looked very run down and her hair is cut short and punk rocker style for her Joan Jet role in the Runaways. What I noticed was the love gleams were either under wraps OR just plain missing as in no longer existing between them. They are close they have chemistry but the interview I got a translated copy of from back in January had Rob stating he NO longer likes crazy girls or ones he can't have. I stand by my early claim that Kristen has been waiting for the right time to break up with Michael so she could be free to date Rob. She did not want to look mean to the fans and she wanted to make sure that Rob was serious. After all, Michael was her first boy-friend and had helped her get the job by introducing her to Twilight's director. The sparks have been carefully stomped out in public.

Romantic Fool

I was wrong about them being together back when I posted this in July 2009. I was buying all the bull pumped out be Summit that they were together secretly. It was not until I saw how she is in real life and learned more about Rob that I realized that they were just friends and at times during the past few years, could not stand each other. There was infatuation at first when they met but things changed quickly as her true personality came out. She is a very hard person to like let alone care about. She is hostile, awkward, Blunt, crude and does not appreciate how lucky she is. She is not with Rob. It was a showmance early on concocted to hide her being nothing like Bella and a bad role model. Kristen has started to behave less nasty to the fans and does not call them names like she used to. She also got over that Rob only wanted to be friends. She made his life miserable for a time because she is not a sweet girl.
