Robert Pattinson gave former supermodel Tyra Banks a bit of a bite when he appeared on her talk show on Thursday The Twilight star was promoting his new film Twilight on the show, which will air next week (Nov 28,08), when Banks bared her neck and asked Robert to bite her.
Stunned Pattinson asked, "Are you absolutely sure about this?" before nibbling the host.
Pulling away, the red-faced actor said, "I've left a mark,' but Banks was far from bothered, boasting, "I got a hickey from Rob... That felt good."
Vampire movie Twilight has already begun breaking box office records - it has scored the most successful opening weekend ever for a female director.
The dark fantasy romance, starring Robert Pattinson, claimed the top spot box office after grossing $70.6 million in its debut weekend (beg Nov 22,08).
And the massive ticket sales have catapulted director Catherine Hardwicke into the history books.
Twilight easily broke the previous target set by a female-directed film - Mimi Leder's Deep Impact, which took $41.1 million uring its opening weekend in 1998.
Hardwicke - who previously co-wrote and directed 2003 movie Thirteen - is already in talks to film a sequel to Twilight, which is based on a series of novels by Stephenie Meyer.
