ROBIN HOOD WILL OPEN THIS YEAR'S CANNES FILM FESTIVAL

The world premiere of Ridley Scott's Robin Hood will open this year's Cannes Film Festival in France.
Hood " starring Russell Crowe in the role of the famed outlaw and Cate Blanchett as his love interest Maid Marian " will open the Cannes Film Festival on May 12, fest organizers said Friday.The festival will run from May 12 to 23.
