Oscar-winning director Roman Polanski will not be extradited to the United States to face being sentenced for having sex with a 13 year-old girl over 30 years ago.Roman Polanski had sex with a 13 year-old girl named Samantha Gemier more than 30 years ago but fled before his sentencing.

Now the Swiss say a flaw in the United States' request for extradition is why they released the 76 year-old director.
