Russell Crowe joins 'Les Miserables'

Russell Crowe has joined the Hugh Jackman starrer Les Miserables as the films villain, Inspector Javert.
Inspector Javert relentlessly pursues the poverty-stricken Jean Valjean (played by fellow Aussie, Hugh). Crowe is only the second one confirmed for the film, but Anne Hathaway has been rumoured, as has Geoffrey Rush (another fellow Aussie) and Helena Bonham Carter.
