Sandra Bullock to Star in Blindside

Variety says that Sandra Bullock will star in football drama-comedy The Blindside for Warner Bros.-based Alcon Entertainment, which will finance and produce.

John Lee Hancock ( My Dog Skip , The Rookie ) has written the adaptation and will direct the feature.

The project is based on "The Blind Side: Evolution of the Game," by Michael Lewis ("Moneyball"). The story follows Michael Oher, projected to be one of the first players selected
