"Scrubs Renewed Ninth Season

Long-running medical comedy Scrubs will return for a ninth season this fall, ABC has confirmed.

Zach Braff has signed up to appear in six episodes of the new season to help transition the show to its new set-up. While the remainder of the show's regular cast - including Sarah Chalke, Donald Faison, John C. McGinley, and Neil Flynn - have closed deals to continue as regulars.
