WASHINGTON - The wife of the director of a private intelcom agency has returned to her old job as Deputy Director of Communications.
Alysyn Bourque has returned as head of the nerve center of Griffith Colson Intelligence Service. She is CEO of NetCity Media Group and a current member of the GCIS Executive Security Council. She served as Director of GCIS for a short time, filling in for her husband, W. Edward Griffith, after an online assault against him was investigated.
Bourque slammed online reports that she was a lesbian and said she was disgusted by the detractors who have made a tabloid circus of her personal life. She contends she is happily married to Griffith and content and happy in their life together.
Bourque has appeared on radio and television as a spokesperson against terrorism and violence.
While Bourque has much on her plate, she is "a multi-tasking, hands-on woman" according to her husband.
Bourque decided to accept an invitation to return to GCIS in order to "lock-down" the communications command center.
"It's about our children", said Bourque, "I have an obligation to help my husband, my children and the country".
