In light of Dana Barron being a new mom this coming November according to many internet reports. Do you think she should reprise her role as Audrey Griswold for the 3rd time in the new planned Vacation movie.
Her being a new mom fits right in with the theme of the film which is centered around Rusty taking his family on a trip.
Do you think it's a wise move for the actress to consider the role for a 3rd time, or will it label her as Audrey too much and limit her.

No way! It would be neat I'm sure but she runs a danger of being type cast. She already is since most don't know who she is and only associate her with Vacation anyway. Not a good idea as fun as it might be for her to reconnect with old friends.

I agree she should just focus on her new baby she's going to have her hands full with that.

NO WAY!! She needs to focus on being a good mom to her new baby. I hate it when they remake these old classics. It just cheapens the original. It's sad I think.

NO way I agree. After the abomination and very unfunny Christmas Vacation 2 Cousin Eddie's adventure, Dana Barron should have been pushed under a rock from embarrassment. You need only read this review: http://www.cinematical. com /2007/08/31/retro-cinema- c hristmas-vacation-2-cousin -eddies-island-advent/#com ments Just paste that into your browser. I saw the first 30 minutes of this reprisal of Dana Barron's Audrey and realized my life was too short to watch the rest. If Dana reprises her role again what ever is left of her career will be crushed in my opinion. Many said and so did this reviewer that they were embarrassed for her. It was a pointless role for her to reprise. She was the best kid of all the Audrey kids. But to take that to adulthood is just sad. And a 3rd time like I said would be a bad move for her. Frankly the 2nd time was a bad move. She's done nothing worth noting since. So my vote is no for her sake. I don't have high hopes this new Vacation will be of any value. The only Vacation worth watching is still the original, and that's where Dana Barron in my opinion should have left it. She only cheapens herself by reprising the role and a 3rd time would just be sad I think.
