If Simon Cowell has his way, music mogul Tommy Mottola will be a judge on Cowell's soon-to-air reality talent show "The X Factor."

The problem is Mottola is also wanted by "American Idol" producers, to fill Simon's seat. The very opinionated British judge will be stepping down from his "American Idol" position after the season wraps, for his very own "X Factor"
