Singer Al Jarreau Discharged From French Hospital

A French cardiologist who's been treating Al Jarreau says the Grammy-award winning singer has been discharged from the hospital, more than a week after he was admitted. The 70-year-old American singer was placed in intensive care on July 23 after suffering breathing problems in The Alps and was later moved by helicopter to La Timone hospital in Marseille. The incident forced Jarreau to cancel several dates on his European concert tour.
