Fans of Benicio Del Toro will be happy to know that the amazingly talented actor will be starring in Steven Soderberg's upcoming two-part film about the much idolized Ernesto "Che" Guevara.
The producers of the film just released the first international teaser poster. No other U.S. marketing push has been made for the filme which is scheduled to hit theaters sometime in 2008. According to various sources, the $70 million dollar budget film was split into two films, Guerrilla and The Argentine, made its debut to rave reviews at this year's Cannes Film Festival.
Che was an Argentine revolutionary who was a physician, author, military theorist, and guerrilla leader. After his death, his stylized image became an ubiquitous symbol worldwide. It's likely to a role of a lifetime for Puerto Rican award winning actor Benecio Del Toro who starred in films Snatch, The Usual Suspects and most famously by director Soderberg Traffic.
