Sony To Distribute 'RoboCop' Remake

Jose Padilha's remake of Paul Verhoeven's 1987 cult classic Robocop has just added another significant piece to the puzzle. Over the weekend, Joel Kinnaman (The Killing, Safe House) signed on to play the lead character and now the film - which is being produced by MGM - has been picked up for distribution by Sony Pictures.
