Mariah Carey is set
to perform at the Michael Jackson
memorial being held tomorrow at the Staple Centre in Los Angeles and it is rumoured that she will be performing 'Ill Be There'. Also scheduled to participate: Jennifer Hudson, Usher, Lionel Richie and Smokey Robinson.
The Jackson family's publicist Ken Sunshine released this statement:"This list is preliminary and subject to change. There will be no further information regarding the program."
Also schedule to speak at the memorial: Kobe Bryant and Magic Johnson, Motown founder berry gordy, Martin Luther King III, John Mayer, Stevie Wonder and Brooke Shields. Someone you won't see at tomorrow's tribute is Elizabeth Taylor. Dame Elizabeth Twittered:I've been asked to speak at the Staples Center," she wrote Monday. "I cannot be part of the public whoopla. And I cannot guarantee that I would be coherent to say a word.""I just don't believe that Michael would want me to share my grief with millions of others. How I feel is between us," she posted. "Not a public event.""I said I wouldn't go to the Staples Center, and I certainly don't want to become a part of it. I love him too much."
Everyone grieves in their own way and sometimes that means privately. I can't imagine what she and his family will be going through tomorrow.
