Superman Film Casts Another Star

Now, Superman has two full sets of parents. It's just that one pair calls him Clark Kent, and another, Kal-El. Deadline reports that Julia Ormond, who just wrapped filming 'My Week With Marilyn," is close to a deal to play Lara Lor-Van, Superman's Kryptonian birth mother, in the big screen reboot of the franchise, "Man of Steel."
