At a spa called "Fountain of Youth" where everyone is too young, pretty and fit to be actual patrons (poor casting of extras), the victim of the week is found floating in the literal fountain.
Jim is helping Callie with her stopped up sink while she frets over her boring storyline. Thank god he gets the call to take us away from it. If Callie has the most annoying subplot, then Attractive Bureau Chief has the second most annoying with her really, really bad flirtation with Jim. This week we learn her long distance boyfriend is an airline pilot. Seriously? Could they have given him any duller a career? And she's back to being inappropriately dressed. Either that or she likes to wear her club clothes to work. Jim finds a watch with a hair in it in
The Fountain and it took three years but they finally make fun of
CSI: Miami, as Jim makes a comment about the murder while putting on his sunglasses and the others look at him like he's crazy. Roll credits...
Carlos sees the spa as a scam, using HGH (human growth hormone) to provide the illusion of youth for big bucks. The victim last called her partner in the spa so Jim and Attractive Bureau Chief go to see her. She's a doctor using an anti-aging cure brought back from South America. While in the doctor's office Attractive Bureau Chief simply grabs her phone, which cannot possibly be legal so they'd better hope she's not the killer. They reveal someone named "Chris" texted the victim but Age Doctor insists that the victim was not cheating on her husband. A husband Jim mistakes initially for her father and remember when I joked he looked like Greg Evigan? Well it is Greg Evigan! You know him as one of My Two Dads, but I'm old so he'll always be BJ from BJ and The Bear to me (Bear was his chimp with whom he roamed the country in an 18-wheeler having adventures). As usual, Jim starts by trying to provoke a potential suspect by pointing out that BJ is twice her age. Carlos seemingly joins in by commenting on the supposed HGH cure, which BJ proudly claims works, as he is the first US patient from Age Doctor. They bring up the brown hair found and ask him for a DNA sample to rule him out. He agrees because no on on this show ever talks to a lawyer first. --- Start WP Socializer Plugin - Sharethis Button -->...
