The Hills will end its run on MTV at the conclusion of its sixth season,

The supposedly unscripted series, which documents the real life drama of L.A.-born fashionista Lauren Conrad and her friends, is currently in its fifth season - but will not continue past season six, Britain's The Sun reported on Friday.

"I think everyone, including Lauren, wants to get on with their lives."
