The Progressive Girl: Quirky and Alluring

The allure of teh Progressive Girl, as I've come to think of her, is a quirky and funny character. The perky woman is the lead spokesman for selling Progressive Insurance pitchwoman known as 'Flo' has a face like a lollipop that resembles Annette Bening.
The actress that plays Flo is Stephanie Courtney and expect to see her a lot more often as last year she signed on to do 12 commercials.The best part for Progressive is that people actually want to watch Flo because she's so funny and adorable. Last time I was so enamored with a commercial's personality was the Aflac duck or Geico's gecko. But this is better because it's a real personna (not a caveman) who reminds you of that bubbly person from highschool the girls invited to pajama parties and the guys allowed to join their inner circle as the "guys' girl". Either way, everyone loves her.
Stephanie Courtney says,"They wanted someone with a lot of personality... They tease my hair, spray it and stick the headband in it. And the makeup is like painting a portrait on my face," she says, laughing.
Courtney has popped up in the movies "The Heartbreak Kid" and "blades of glory," and was one of four leads in the smart adult comedy "Melvin Goes to Dinner," but nothing is more flattering then her role in the commercials which has earned her the name the "Progressive Girl".
