Will Smith Foundation show he and his wife gave vast amounts of money to a number of religious, civic and arts groups in 2007, according to
Foxnews.com.
The biggest single contribution was to
Yesha Ministries of Philadelphia. The born-again Christian based organization received $250,000. Smith donated a further $200,000 to a Christian ministry outside Los Angeles called
Living Waters.
And to Cruise's Church Of Scientology religion, the actor donated $67,500 to the
New York Rescue Workers Detoxification Fund, $50,000 to the group's Celebrity Center in Hollywood and $5,000 to
ABLE, another Scientology offshoot.
