Well, this is interesting. A mother-daughter duo are giving it their try at being America's next big thing. And, not only is this a mother-daughter singing duo, but the father and brother also get in on the fun by playing in their band. The family has done a lot to try to make their dreams of being famous singers a reality, including the mom quitting her job to attend the auditions. Their dreams of making it as performers are within their grasp, so will they be able to make it?
The ladies have decided to perform "Before He Cheats" by country great (and former American Idol winner) Carrie Underwood. The ladies were off to a kind of shaky start, but they got their sea legs under them about half way through and both Blake and Cee lo turned around. (If I'm being honest right now which - you know me - I am, the daughter is a way better singer than her mother and definitely makes the performance.)
When the song is over, Adam tells the ladies that he didn't pick them because duos confuse him - but Blake quickly interject that he knows how. Cee lo and Blake take their chances trying to sell themselves to the ladies, with Blake saying he wants to protect the mother-daughter bond in the savage Hollywood music scene. But folks, let's be real - they are COUNTRY singers. They're going to go with Blake... they gotta right?
