Tim Hetherington,'Restrepo' Co-Director & Photojournalist, Killed in Liby

The journalism community is mourning a talented photographer and film director today, as reports indicate that Oscar nominee Tim Hetherington has been killed in Misrata, Libya.

Hetherington and his colleague Sebastian Junger directed the Oscar-nominated Restrepo, a 2010 documentary chronicling one of the most war-torn areas of afghanistan. They were up for Best Feature Documentary at the 2011 Academy Awards.
