You would have thought it'd be in a candid interview with PEOPLE or a Vanity Fair cover that would bring the news to the world that Lindsay Lohan is indeed dating Samantha Ronson. No no, it was the Los Angeles Police Department police chief who scooped the world.
While discussing the possibility of regulations against paparazzi in his town, William Bratton told local NBC station that 'since Britney started wearing clothes and behaving, Paris is out of town not bothering anybody anymore, thank God, and evidently Lindsay Lohan has gone gay, we don't seem to have much of an issue.' Oh no he didn't!
If you've been following Lohan's life at all lately, you'd know Bratton is referencing her unconfirmed romantic status with Ronson, with whom Lindsay has been spotted kissing, hugging and clutching hands. While Lindsay and Sam have remained mum on their status, it's left everyone else to speculate.Bratton's comments were in relation to hearings held over whether there should be stricter regulations and laws against paparazzi and their actions used to snap photos of Hollywood's stars. Music star John Mayer spoke during the meeting, asking lawmakers to 'regulate it, officialize it, tax it, legitimize it.'
