"Tom & Jerry Movie Live Action

Tom & Jerry are on their way back to the big screen with a live-action movie remake set to hit theaters next year.

The cat and mouse comedy duo who made their small screen debut in the 1940s appeared in an animated feature-length film Tom and Jerry: The Movie in 1992.

According to Variety, the new film will feature the CGI technology used in hit films like Alvin & The Chipmunks and Scooby Doo and will center on how Tom and Jerry met.
