TV Fitness Pioneer Jack LaLanne Dies at 96

Jack LaLanne, a TV pioneer who urged couch potatoes to get fit long before Richard Simmons and others, has died, his longtime agent told The Associated Press. He was 96.

Rick Hersh told the AP that LaLanne died of respiratory failure from pneumonia Sunday at his home in Morro Bay on California's central coast.
