Tears, Tirades and Tom Cruise....A look at Televisions controversal moments
#10. Jack Paar - Known as the stint that started it all. After television network NBC censored a "water closet" joke, the PO'd Tonight Show host snipped "there must be a better way to make a living" and the he stormed offthe set in tears. He did return to the show weeks later, making it the longest bathroom break in television.
#9. Marie Osmond - While competing on the reality television dance show "Dancing With The Stars," Donny's little sister hit the floor face down after her performance. Supposedly she fainted however, many called it an attempt to get "sympathy votes." He awakening comment "oh crap" did seem a bit rehearsed.
