Emily Schooley (born October 17, 1984 in Calgary, Alberta), is an up-and-coming Canadian television and film actress, currently residing in Toronto. She is a rising scream queen, appearing in horror films such as The Witching Hour and Black Eve, and has won awards for her on-screen performances from several independent film festivals, including the Toronto Urban Film Festival. She also does voice work, and recently contributed to Flip's Twisted World, a video game also featuring the voice talents of Anthony Stewart Head.

Most recently, she was seen shooting in Burlington, ON for Stiffs on the Green, a feature film being billed as "a dark comedy about golf." She has a featured role, playing a sexy golf cart girl named Stacey who parades around in a short skirt. Like a mix of Angelina Jolie, Gillian Anderson, and Marilyn Monroe, Emily brings passion, sex appeal and an indescribable edginess to her performances, making her a joy to watch. Stacey, unarguably a bimbo, is a serious deviation from the strong women Emily usually plays, but the campiness of Stiffs on the Green promises to make it an unmissable treat for all B-movie fans.

I just looked up the trailers for The Witching Hour and Black Even. Is this a joke? This girl is terrible. They're on YouTube if anyone wants to check for themselves. Just a terrible, terrible "actress".

For a really good laugh, go to her website and watch her demo reel. I don't think I've ever seen anything so homemade-looking and amateurish.

She's not even in the trailer for Black Eve. And The Witching Hour is meant to be campy. Way to know your genres, moron.

Wow, jealous of her much? =) All that footage is really old. She's got some better stuff on Youtube, and her best roles are the ones that only screen at fests/in the movie theaters.

Please, are you guys kidding me? This girl has some real talent. It's not her fault that you all have floppy tiny dicks that girls laugh at when you get naked. Also she's done more in the last 2 months, than all of you combined. It's sad when pathetic Virgin losers like yourselves need to harp on a real talent. Do us all a favour get out of your parents houses and start meeting people that are not online. LOSERS!!!

Well in all fairness my initial comment was only based on watching the two trailers mentioned, so after reading some of these comments, I felt like I should do some more research… As a whole her Wikipedia article is incredibly self-serving and biased, so I'd imagine she must've written it herself. A few examples: The Wiki article that claims she has won 'awards' for her on-screen performances from 'several' independent film festivals - this is uncited of course. She says she won something from the Toronto Urban Film Festival, I was able to track down the film she was in that was recognized (although it doesn't appear she was honoured individually) and she had literally three seconds of screen-time in which she managed to be terrible. You can see it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AWi p7f2M5KA Here's another gem: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSi IW3fENDQ Oh and whoever said her reel was hilarious was right: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fMm JqLpArtU And I had a look at her IMDB page, which films that she's had a prominent role in have been released theatrically or had a legitimate festival run? I'm not talking about two dollar festivals that nobody's heard of. Who wrote this article? Where is the basis for referring to this actress as 'up and coming' repeatedly? And "she was seen shooting in Burlington, ON"? Seen by who? The Burlington paparazzi? A mix of Angelina Jolie, Gillian Anderson & Marilyn Monroe? I refuse to believe that anyone but Ms. Schooley or one of her delusional 'fans' with a mediocrity-fetish wrote this article. This isn't news, it's completely unfounded self-promotion. That Wikipedia article should be reported and revised/taken down as well. And using "campy" as an excuse for ****ty acting is lame, I would expect much better from such an 'up and coming Canadian film and television actress' - btw which television credits does she have again?

If you know anything about the film industry, which you clearly don't, you know that post-production takes months and sometimes even years to complete after filming is done. So films don't hit festivals right away. Orange Girl toured in 2008, Speed Demon toured in 2009. Yes, they're shorts, but everyone has to start somewhere. Filmsnobbery.com described her as 'up and coming' and they're also an independent source. Now, just because you're a pathetic loser with no friends shouldn't mean that you can't understand why someone as hot and talented as Emily wouldn't have a fanbase. Check out facebook. 750 fans. 650 on her twitter. Your jealousy is pathetically apparent, "Serge". Grow up and get a life, and stop trolling. And lose the beer gut while you're at it.

Hi, my name's Carlos. I'm a professional film editor and actor. I'd just like to say that EMILY SCHOOLEY is awesome and reminds me of Alyson Hannigan. She's hot, she's funny, she's cute, she's got talent and I think Black Eve and Witching Hour both look great. As for Serge? Let me get this straight girlfriend. You decided to **** on some aspiring actress by declaring you saw two trailers on youtube. Trailers, of course, being the be-all, end-all of determining acting talent. Not that film is very good at it either, considering Oscar Award Winners have looked like **** in tons of movies (Ian McKellen in The Keep and Jeremy Irons in Dungeons and Dragons to name a few). Oh but you can point to her demoreel. Which would mean something if auditions didn't exist. But they do. And she's getting loads of them and getting loads of work. And has great testimonials in the field, which means she's great to work with. Hmmm. So I guess all the casting directors must be wrong and not know what they're doing. Yeaaaaaah. And there's a little problem with your story. One of those trailers is not available on youtube (it's on vimeo) and the other doesn't feature her at all. You'd almost think you were just smearing her for the sake of doing it. And then you came back to make sweeping comments about her acting ability and declared that anybody who praises her or any article that praises her is delusional and suffering from a 'mediocrity fetish' and is lacking in credibility. You back this up, not with a slew of negative reviews of her talent or any honest criticism from actual credible film critics or more importantly casting directors (who judging from her consistent work-rate obviously like her), but by pointing to a few youtube links and reacting melodramatically to what amounts to nearly no footage of her at all. And you've already got a ready-made excuse to dismiss out of hand any award she's won or any film festival that accepted her movies. Riiiiiight. And you're arguing other people's credibility? Hate to break this to you bitch-tits, but your criticism is trite, inane bull**** and your accusations stink of overcompensation and jealousy. You fudge your facts, you over-react, you clearly don't know **** from fine chocolate when it comes to making movies and getting distribution for them or when it comes to judging talent. You're attacking a hard-working Canadian actress trying to make a name for herself in a ridiculously difficult environment for getting cast in films and getting good press. So, yeah. You're basically, a worthless, spineless, pathetic attention whore. Congratulations!

Funny you would point to the *first* teaser trailer for A Shadow Shall Fall. Which, BTW, is a 10 episode television series Emily starred in, and it will likely be hitting major network television when it's done post production. Check out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lrt lD2lhpjk for a more updated trailer and see the difference in production value. But then again, Carlos said it all already. :)

wow, troll much? Seriously? I've worked with Emily professionally a time or two, and she is an incredibly talented, beautiful woman. So these aren't major productions like X-files or with the big budgets like James Cameron and all those big wigs. Stop being a glutius craneus

Who is this actress? Up and coming??? This article was written in 2010, it is 2012, if she not have up and come already - guess what, I don't think she ever will? Perhaps she has not made it as she is a TERRIBLE ACTRESS. I saw that she was in a Batman movie. Where was she? What did she do? Hand the lead actress a glass of water? I think this Emily Scholey needs to quit acting, it does NOT appear to be working for her. Hot fan?? She is not beautiful. How professional is she if she lists Batman on her imbd page and she is not even listed in the credits?
