So MTV reported that Vanessa Hudgens has auditioned for a part of Leah Clearwater in the upcoming Twilight sequel New Moon. I've heard some talk around the net and it doesn't look like people are too happy with this. Vanessa is known for her role as "Gabriella" in Disney's High School Musical. Personally, I haven't read New Moon yet so I don't know if she would be good for the role...but if she does get cast as I watch the film I'll be anticipating that Zac Efron is going to jump out of the bushes and sing her a love song from Hairspray as she's mid-battle against wolf and vampire heathen. lol.
What do you think? I'm SURE you have an opinion...

no way! if she comes into the sequel she will defo ruin the whole thing for me. im a twilight fan and not much of a hsm fan and i would rather let her do her antsy pansty cheesy fun stuff than bring her into a more seriuos role that i can't see her doing well in.

She is a tall dark-haired, dark-skinned Native American, and very pretty. She has a girly look but at the same time is rough and mean, but she has good reason for her not-so-nice attitude. Vanessa would not be able to play this role, for the reasons that she is not Native American, not very tall, and White.

OH good god please no, i do not think that she has enough skill to play this role. i do not think that she would be the best choice for this role. Personaly I'm not a big fan of HSM and to bring her into New Moon would just kill it for me. i wouldnt be able to enjoy the movie. Sorry.
