Veep Joe Biden's Daughter Ashley Is Engaged!

Ashley Biden, Vice President Joe Biden's daughter, is set to marry love Dr. Howard Krein.

"Ashley recently got engaged and the Vice President, Dr. Biden and the entire family are thrilled," the Vice President's office tells Us Weekly in a statement.

The only child of Vice President Joe and Dr. Jill Biden, social worker Ashley, 30, has been dating Krein for a little over a year.

The Vice-President has two other children from a previous marriage. Biden's first wife died.

On December 18, 1972, a few weeks after the election, Biden's wife and one-year-old daughter were killed in an automobile accident while Christmas shopping in Hockessin, Delaware. Neilia Biden's station wagon was hit by a tractor-trailer as she pulled out from an intersection; the truck driver was cleared of any wrongdoing. Biden's two sons, Beau and Hunter, were critically injured in the accident, but both eventually made full recoveries.
