Viggo Mortensen Denies Retirement

Viggo Mortensen has denied reports that he is quitting acting, but a question mark remains over whether his future lies on the stage or screen.

The Danish-American thesp had stoked rumours of a retirement from films after admitting that he had no work in the pipeline.

At the Toronto International Film Festival, the 50-year-old actor dismissed the suggestion.

But he added that his only future project was a play in Spain.
