These two pouty pop rock princesses have seemingly had a rocky-road "rivalry" since their respective characters first competed for the spotlight in an early episode of Miley's show, Hannah Montana. But gossip certainly won't keep them apart, as they've shared everything from that spotlight to best friends and even boyfriends!
So what's next? Doing a movie together, of course! Secret plans have mentioned a possible film adaption of an infamous groundbreaking book, Annie On My Mind, by critically-acclaimed author Nancy Garden, in which Miley and Selena would play the roles of Liza and Annie, two teen girls who form a friendship that eventually transforms into a deeper love. This would also be the perfect role for both actresses to break out of their candy shells career-wise and show off their serious dramatic acting chops, which is what every young star eventually strives to do.
Here's hoping that this is one friendship that won't be written off anytime soon!
