Why doesn't eric dane just take his shirt off?

good evening! tonight marks the 100th episode of grey's anatomy - featuring the hunky Eric Dane (36) although since i gave up on the show awhile ago - i wasn't sure if his sexy character was still around - so i asked my twitter pals - and instantly i had like six people tell me he is indeed still on and in love with 'meredith's' sister (Ellen Pompeo) i love the ability to ask a question at any given hour and somebody always has the answer -
