Why Was the Mary J. Blige Burger King Ad Pulled?

Mary J. Blige has a Burger King ad that's a part of the same campaign as David Beckham's recent smoothie ad, but her commercial was pulled almost immediately after its debut.
The ad showed Blige singing the praises - literally - of Burger King chicken sandwiches, sparking an outcry from critics who felt the casting of a black celebrity for a fried chicken ad was inappropriate and insulting.
