Will Jimmy Fallon Host the Oscars?

Jimmy Fallon is in talks to host the 2013 Academy Awards, with his former Saturday Night Live boss Lorne Michaels producing the broadcast, according to the Los Angeles Times. But executives from ABC, which broadcasts the Oscars, are not happy about the choice, the paper says. The reason? Fallon's late-night Talk Show, Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, which is also produced by Michaels, airs on rival network NBC.
