the synopsis isn't quite correct... he doesn't just wake up one day. He's actually driving along when he sess's this guy who was about to jump off a bridge being a good man jumps out and says stop run's over and tries to grab the man but he's gone then he looks over the side of the bridge at this big glowing vortex other dimension swirl in the water and gets either sucked in or something and then find him self muddy and wet not suspecting that he's change but has!
